K59 Films embedded with Otto Aerospace at Spaceport America in the high desert of southern New Mexico to document a UAV flight test program. Developed in collaboration with DARPA and the OECIF, the aircraft represented years of engineering work culminating in its first flight. A three-person crew of two ground operators, covering video and stills, alongside a dedicated aerial unit running alongside the aircraft during launch and flight sequences, captured the full scope of the program from hangar operations and ground crew activity through live flight and landing. Coverage was built around active flight operations with no margin for second takes on the moments that defined the shoot.
